硫磺回收催化劑在煤、石油和天然氣的加工過程中產(chǎn)生大量的H2S氣體，為了保護環(huán)境和回收元素硫，工業(yè)上普遍采用克勞斯過程，處理含有H,S的酸性氣體。工業(yè)應(yīng)用表明，在燃燒爐能達(dá)到的高溫下，般爐內(nèi)H.S轉(zhuǎn)化率可以達(dá)到65%-75%．若采用二級克勞斯工藝，裝置總硫轉(zhuǎn)化率約為92-95%.
